all problems turn out to be faults. Quite often apparent
technical hitches turn out to be just that new users are
not always familiar with a program.

| Question
- Picture
Viewing Gallery? |
|
|
When I
completed my first picture puzzle I chose to view it
large, then added the big picture to the viewing gallery
(a great feature by the way). But I forgot to add the next
picture I solved to the gallery to view later. Is there a
way I can add it now?
|
| |
Answer: When
a picture puzzle is solved you get two chances to 'save
it large' to the gallery to enjoy at anytime. After that
no, as it would be to easy for people to 'cheat' and
pretend that they halve done all those pictures, so you
will have to enjoy doing the puzzle again!
We created the 'Gallery' to perform two functions: Using
it keeps a record of all the Puz-Pix picture puzzles
that you have completed and it allows you to enjoy
viewing those beautiful images at anytime as a much
bigger picture. |

| Question
- Registering
Picture Albums? |
|
|
I
downloaded two new picture album sets and unzipped them,
but when I went to register them with Puz-Pix it said I
only had one new album set and I can not see the other one
listed for use?
|
| |
Answer: When
downloading more than one picture album set for Puz-Pix,
unzip and register ONLY one set at a time. As unzipping
a second set without registering the first, will
overwrite the New Album notification file.
To correct your problem, just unzip your first picture
album set again, then you will see it appear in the New
Album list. Click Register and it will be ready for use.
Have fun!

| Question
- Quick Access
Desktop Icon? |
|
|
I forgot
to copy the Puz-Pix quick startup icon to the desktop during
installation. Is there any way that I can do this now?
|
| |
Answer:
Yes. Open 'My Computer'
and then 'C' drive. Open the 'Windows' folder, then the
'Start Menu' folder. Click on 'Programs', then open 'Ashgem
Software'. Inside you will see the start icons for all
your installed Ashgem Software programs. Right click on
the 'Puz-Pix' icon and select 'Copy' from the menu.
Then click on your desktop and select 'Paste'. The 'Puz-Pix' start icon will now be on your desktop -
ready for a quick start! |

| Question
- More Picture Sets? |
|
|
On the
Ashgem Software website some of the picture album sets
listed are are not 'hyperlinked' to the shopping basket
for purchase yet, why is this?
|
| |
Answer:
We have lots of
stunning new Picture Album Sets to add to the website
very soon. We are very fussy about only using only very
high quality images which take time to prepare. As soon
as they are ready these links will be connected.
(In the coming months we hope to be adding new albums
each week.) |
