Why is it
important to install AQ-Phonix into the 'C:\Ashgem\Courses\'
folder?

Answer: Although
AQ-Phonix could theoretically be installed into other
locations - such as the 'Program Files' folder. Most
aspects of this program would work well, but the voice
recording function will cease to work. Which means
teachers would not be able to record new voices or
accents to compliment word lists. Note: Flexibility
regarding this situation is something we are currently
trying to improve. |

Desktop Icon? |

I forgot
to copy the AQ-Phonix startup icon to the desktop during
installation. Is there any way that I can do this now?

Answer:
Yes. Open 'My Computer'
and then 'C' drive. Open the 'Windows' folder, then the
'Start Menu' folder. Click on 'Programs', then open 'Ashgem
Software'. Inside you will see the start icons for all
your installed Ashgem Software programs. Right click on
the 'AQ-Phonix' icon and select 'Copy' from the menu.
Then click on your desktop and select 'Paste'. The
AQ-Phonix start icon will now be on your desktop - which
is the handiest place for quick and convenient usage
with this program. |
