WORDSPELL2 UPGRADE FILE DETAILS

 Program Name: WordSpell2 - Ws2d.   
 Download Filename: ws2d_u.exe
 Filesize: 0.1Mb   
 File Type: Self extracting '.exe' zip

This file upgrades WordSpell2 to 'W2d' Spec.

*** It does NOT work with the WordSpell2 30 Day Free Trial. ***

HOW TO INSTALL - 'WordSpell2 Upgrades'. 
________________________________

This is a guide for installing Upgrades, not the WordSpell2 
full program!

*** Upgrades must always be installed AFTER the full program. ***

QUICK GUIDE -

1. Save the Upgrade file onto your PC. 
2. Double click on the saved file.
3. Click on the 'UNZIP' button.
4. After extraction close the unzip window.
5. Use your upgraded software.

FULL GUIDE INSTRUCTIONS -

(If you are not familiar with the process, it may help if you 
print this Install Guide.)

Before you can install any upgrade programs from the Internet, 
you must first download, save and extract them into your PC. 
WordSpell upgrades are Self Extracting ZIP files which 
carry a '.exe' suffix after the filename.

Important Info -
  1) This upgrade exe file has been designed to auto install 
     assuming that WordSpell2 was initially installed into 
     its normal recommended location.*
  So if you intstalled WS2 in a different location you will have
  to specify extraction of the new files into that location.
* We are currently not able to provide full technical support 
  for programs installed elsewhere. 

DOWNLOAD and INSTALLATION -

'Click' on the link provided to download the program upgrade '.exe' 
file. From the menu which appears click save and select a folder 
to save the file into. (This location will only be needed temporarily.) 
SUGGESTION - use 'C:\temp' or 'C:\Ashgem\Temp' but whichever, please 
remember where you saved it !!!

Find your 'ws{filename}.exe' download file & Double Click on it, the 
self extraction process will start it will recommend that you 'Extract' 
the main program files into the folder 'C:\Ashgem\courses\wspell2', 
just click on the 'UNZIP' button.   
When finished it will say '# number of files extracted', Click 'OK' 
then 'close' the 'Winzip Self-Extractor' program.

Thats it your upgraded program is now ready for use.

WHATS NEW - in the upgraded Program.
________________________________

This upgrades WordSpell2 to 'Ws2d' spec. Which
 - Provides an Extra 20 Wordlists
 - Eliminates misshaps when creating new wordlists.
 - Provides extra guidance with new wordlists.

UPDATED STAFF GUIDANCE NOTES:

CREATING A NEW WORDLIST IN THE SETUP SCREEN - 
Use the '<' & '>' scroll arrows to find an empty current list 
or one you wish to replace. Then type your new words in the 
right hand page where the cursor is blinking. You MUST enter 
all 10 words and a TITLE for each list. 
Words in the list can be either 'UPPER' or 'lower' case.
(Having blank spaces before or in a word can create program 
errors on early WS2 versions. The Ws2d update has been 
designed to eliminate those problems.)

When satisfied with your new Wordlist, click the 'Replace 
Current' button, this saves it and overwrites the 'Current 
List' on display! 

WARNING - DO NOT click on 'Replace Current' If you want to 
keep (and use) the existing 'Current List' displayed on the 
left. As this list will be erased and replaced with whatever 
is being displayed on the right hand page!

VOICE RECORDING:
To use your voice to hear the words in the list being spoken, 
click on the left hand side 'Rec' buttons beside each word 
and speak into your microphone.
