ASHGEM SOFTWARE _____________________________ TimeWatch Digital Download Installation Guide. _____________________________ (If you are not familiar with this process, it is recommended that you print this Install Guide.) PROGRAM NAME: TimeWatch-Soho 30 Day Trial / TimeWatch-Free LICENCE NUMBER: Before you can install programs from the Internet, you must first download, save and extract them into a temporary folder on your PC. All Ashgem Software programs are Self Extracting ZIP files which carry a '.exe' suffix after the filename. Important Rules: 1) For fast access we recommend that our program start Icons are copied to the desktop.* 2) To guarantee full compliance, programs must be installed into their recommended location. Install Guide for 'TimeWatch' Digital Download. Please Note: Below 'tw' may be used to denote the initials of whichever TimeWatch program you are using. TimeWatch = 'tw'. TIMEWATCH PROGRAM FILE DETAILS: Either -  Program Name: TimeWatch-Soho - Trial. Download Filename: tw30d_trial_r1.exe Filesize: 3.7Mb File Type: Self extracting '.exe' zip or - Program Name: TimeWatch-Free. Download Filename: tw_free_r1.exe Filesize: 3.1Mb File Type: Self extracting '.exe' zip DOWNLOADING PROGRAMS:   After payment has been verified (if appropriate), you will be able to Digitally Download your chosen program. 'Click' on the link provided to download the program '.exe' file. From the menu which appears click save and select a folder or drawer to save it into. (This location will only be needed temporarily. SUGGESTION - use 'C:\temp' or just 'C:' but what ever, please remember where you saved it !!!) Find your 'tw{filename}.exe' download file & Double Click on it, the self extraction process will start it will recommend that you 'Extract' the main program files into the folder 'C:\Ashgem\temp_tw', just click on the 'UNZIP' button. >> You may be asked for an 'un-zip' password at this point. << When finished it will say '# number of files extracted', Click 'OK' then 'close' the 'Winzip Self-Extractor' program. After extraction there will be a file inside 'C:\Ashgem\temp_tw', named 'Setup.exe'.  To install the program from here follow the appropriate instructions below - Windows 95,98,NT,2000,ME & XP Installation (Step by step guide) Please Note: Below 'tw' may be used to denote the initials of whichever TimeWatch program you are using. TimeWatch = 'tw'. Method 1: 'Double click' on the 'Setup.exe' inside 'C:\Ashgem\temp_tw' folder and click on 'OK'. The installation process will now start, with an onscreen guide to help and inform you. For further guidance read the 'The Installer Program' at the bottom of the page. Method 2: Click on 'Start' then 'Run'. Use the 'Browse' button to find 'C' Drive. In the Browse window where it says 'Look in' click on the small 'Down' arrow and select (click on) '[C]'. A window will appear, 'double click' on the 'Ashgem' folder, then the 'temp_tw' folder.  The contents of this folder will reveal a program called 'Setup.exe', click on 'Setup.exe' to select it and click on 'Open'. After a moment you will be returned to the 'Run' screen and you should see 'C:\Ashgem\temp_tw\Setup.exe' in the text box. Now click on 'OK'. The installation process will start, with an onscreen guide to help and inform you. For further guidance read the 'The Installer Program' at the bottom of the page. THE INSTALLER PROGRAM: The Recommended Installation Directory path will show 'C:\Ashgem\Utility\T...### \', click 'Continue', an ASHGEM SOFTWARE folder group will be created. (Do not alter this file path or we can not guarantee full compliance. All our programs only use a small amount of Hard Drive space - typically between 3 to 13Mb.) After the installation is completed a window will appear with the program start-up icon in it. We recommend that you 'Copy' (Not Move) this icon out onto the desktop now - before program use, this will provide easy and fast future access.* Programs can always be started from within the Start Menu ASHGEM SOFTWARE folder group. >> When you first use your software you may be asked to << enter a supplied product Licence Number. WARNING - 'Trial' programs are limited to 30 days use - from the date of first use. Re-installation at anytime will prevent the trial program from working! * Copying Program Start Icons to the Desktop. We recommend this for all Business Utility programs as the speedier access provided increases workflow and productivity. Below are two methods - a) During Installation (Recommended) - When the installation process has finished, the program Start Icon will appear in an open window. To copy this onto your desktop either: 'Drag' the icon onto the desktop by pressing the 'Ctrl key' on the keyboard and using the 'Left mouse' button to select and move it. Or 'Left Click' the mouse on the icon to select it, then 'Right Click' on it - and from the menu that appears select 'Copy'.
