How to Install New Puz-Pix Picture Album Sets

We recommend you print these instruction off

Note the name of the Picture Album you have chosen.
After you have saved your new album to your computer, 
find the file. It will be called '{album_name}.exe' 
which is a self extracting file.
(Note: If Puz-Pix is already open, you will need 
 to close it to continue to install each album set.)

A small window will appear telling you where it will 
unzip the file.  DO NOT ALTER THIS PATH!  
Ensure ‘overwrite without prompting’ is ticked, then 
click on the ‘Unzip’ button.

When it is finished it will say ’72 Files unzipped 
successfully’, click ‘OK’. Then ‘Close’ the self-
extracting window.

You must now start Puz-Pix to ‘Register’ the new picture 
album for use with the program. 
(NOTE: Do this before you extract any more new albums)

On the main Puz-Pix window click the ‘Get New Albums’ 
button, then click the GREEN ‘Register/View....’ button.

Your ‘New Album’ will be shown in the left hand blue column 
and all your existing picture albums will be listed in the 
right hand white ‘Registered Album’ column. 

Click the ‘Register’ button. Your new album is now added to 
the ‘Registered Album’ list and ready for use.

If you want more albums, click ‘Get More Albums’ to get more 
picture albums from the Internet. Or click ‘Return to Puz-Pix’ 
to test your skill and enjoy the new pictures.

If you downloaded more than one album set, you may now safely 
install the next album as described above using unzip to 
extract the files.

Warning: Do not unzip and extract more than one album set at 
a time, as only the last set will ‘Register’ properly for use. 
If you do accidentally do this however, you will need to install 
the first sets again - one at a time.
